I wanted to share one more teensy, tiny thing that I learned while at a PD meeting that I attended on the Common Core today. It is http://www.watchknowlearn.org/. Have you used this online resource?
It is an online resource to educational videos BUT at the top of the home page you can click on "Common Core". Then you choose your grade level. This resource has lots of online videos of the text exemplar poetry and poetry read alouds. It also includes videos of some of the nonfiction text exemplars and additional videos that can be used. It's fabulous!!!
I have papers to grade and TPT shopping ( round 2) that are calling my name.
Please visit again soon. I am working on a post about multiplication and a free multiplication assessment that is aligned to the Common Core. If you purchased my " Mighty Multiplication Task Cards" this test goes perfectly with it.
