Happy Wednesday! Have you ever looked around to check out what is in everyone's lunch? Tara at Fourth Grade Frolics is having a LunchBox Linky party. Click Here to check it out and join in. Also be sure to check out her adorable blog!
Here's what's in my lunch bag today.
First a pic of my lunch bag. It's by Thirty-One.
Inside is a Smart Ones Chicken Enchilada. I love Mexican! ... and I'm trying to eat healthy.
Yogurt of course.....
AND my MOST addictive habit.. I know it's not a good one. My husband tells me that he can determine the kind of day I've had by the # of Diet Sunkist's I take out to the recycle bin.......
My students have lunch from 12:00-12:45. They have 25 minutes for lunch and 20 minutes of recess time. This is the FIRST year I have had no lunch duties so I get 45 minutes of lunch everyday. It's been WONDERFUL! Instead of lunch duties, I have one long bus duty after school for about 30 minutes. I don't mind this at all because it's after school. Usually one day a week our grade level goes out for lunch. The other days I generally work over my lunch grading papers or preparing things for the next day. Lately it's been so beautiful I've been walking with a teacher friend over my lunch. It's been a great way to relieve stress........ then I've been running of an evening in order to prepare for an upcoming Marathon Relay. My legs are getting tired.

Hey Krista! I wanted to ask you how your sales have been with creating activities linked to the common core? I am going to be opening up with a common core activity but it's not finished yet :) Let me know, and if you don't want to respond here you can always email me boudls89@yahoo.com Thanks :)
Great lunch! It looks like what I have a lot too.
