Hi Dear Friends!
I couldn't wait to link up with Tara from 4th Grade Frolics for her Monday Made It.
I've had some time this week to get my "Pinterest On".
I've had some time this week to get my "Pinterest On".
I have collected so many pins with ideas of things I want to do for our home and at school, that I thought I had better get started on that "to do" list.
I set aside my school ideas for later this summer, and thought I'd better work on some home ideas.
I completed 3 of them this week, which is fabulous considering I have done "nada" throughout the busy school year. Woot! Woot!
Project #1- A Daily Chore Chart for my Sweet kiddos
Now that we are all home together ALL SUMMER, and after feeling like I have done EVERYTHING since I've been home, I thought it time to enlist the help of my sweet children with daily chores. I found this idea on Pinterest, and modified it a bit to fit the needs at our house. I thought it would be perfect introduction to a type of "to do" list for my kids. Our two younger children have embraced this idea, our two older ones.. not so much. (They'll get over it.)
For this project I purchased the foam door hangers from Wal-mart, brightly colored Sharpies, and clothespins.
Then I created this border to glue onto the front of the door hanger. After printing it, I laminated the border and then hot glued it onto the door hanger.
You can download the Chore Chart border from Google Docs by clicking on the picture below.
Finally I added the chores for each of my children onto the clothespins.
Project #2- "Dirty Dishes" Framed saying- FREEBIE
I saw this picture on Pinterest, and thought it fit perfectly in our kitchen.

Project #3- Lucky Lottery Numbers Print
That is what my hubs calls this print I created to hang on our walls. It is the birth dates of every one in our family. It is another Pinterest inspired craft. I absolutely LOVE to see this sweet thing hanging on our wall.
The graphics ( frame) is from The LibraryFox. Click Here to see where to download this product.
The font used is called " Amazing Ruler"
Don't forget to check out all the other fabulous Monday Made It's by clicking on the picture below.
I can't wait to see all of the fabulous ideas to add to my summer " to do " list.

This door hanger project was simply fantastic! You made household chores more fun and interesting for your children. They would love to see through these door hangers their assigned tasks for every day. Colorful stuff like these are definitely a great way for them to have a new perspective towards daily chores.
