January Currently

Happy New Year!!!
It's hard to believe another year has come and gone.
I wish you many blessings in the year to come.

I'm linking up with Farley from Oh Boy, Fourth Grade for her January Currently.

I am a Today Show junkie.  Actually, I am never able to watch it except for holiday breaks and summer vacation.

I  have been soaking in every moment of family time that I have had over this holiday break.  It has been fabulous!   ( Just don't ask how the potty training of our newly turned 3 year old is going.  I began this adventure over the break as well.  Ugh!!!   My little guy is as stubborn as it gets.)

I truly need to get back to healthy eating.  I had been doing so well and then the holiday break with family get togethers, birthday parties, and cold wintry weather totally ruined it.

I go back to work tomorrow.  ** Sigh**  Back to waking up at 5:15 a.m. and no more lounging all day in comfy clothes.

I have been so blessed!  Life is such an adventure.  It doesn't always go the way you want and there are heartaches along the way (I've had my share of those over the years.... miscarriage, divorce, and death of a parent).   I have been blessed with such an amazing family and a sweet, supportive hubs.  I truly love where I work and have many coworkers that I call friends.

My OLW is "Blessed".   When life gets busy or stressful or things don't go the way I hope for them to go, I find myself grumbling complaining or getting "down",  I must  remember how blessed I am.   I also want to share this with my children and for them to remember this as they interact with others.

Since one of my personal New Year's Resolutions was to take more photos of my family.. I had to share a few of our favorites from 2012.
We can NEVER have a "perfect"family photo.  This is taken at Seaside Beach in Florida.

In front of Busch Stadium... It was the youth baseball/softball league's night and our kiddos were able to walk on the ball field before the game began.
My husband and I were able to get away for a long weekend and visit the mountains of Utah.  I think it's one of the most gorgeous places I have ever visited.

Enjoy this first day of the New Year.  I will get back to posting about school stuff soon.

I am your newest follower! What an awesome currently! I love the today show as well... but dont get to see that often... We are out the door a little after 7 every morning! I am going to get back into eating right this year as well... I have jumped off the bandwagon recently... Good Luck with the potty training... My son is 3 1/2 but we started like a year ago... His teacher at daycare suggested that we put underwear on him and that worked! He didnt like the feeling of being wet! Now he is completely potty trained even at night! I hope you have a beautiful and blessed January and 2013!

What a nice list you have. I don't watch the Today show but I love Kelly. I watch it every time I am on break and I also go back tomorrow morning :(
So glad to have found your blog through this little linky party. Have a great start to the year.
