Student Christmas Gifts and a Holiday Pack Freebie

Hi Sweet Friends!
Are you on the countdown?
We have 10 more school days left until holiday break.
Woot!  Woot!

Only 10 days!!  I'm just a little bit panicked.
I still have grades to enter before the end of the semester.
AND I haven't even begun to work on student gifts or gifts for my students to make for their parents.

Take a peek at some Pinterest inspired ideas that I am going to give as gifts for my students this year.

1.  Santa keys
Isn't this the cutest?!  I have already ordered the keys from Hobby Lobby.  They came in packs of 6 at $6.00 a pack.  Just click on the picture above to be taken to the link to download the free tags.  My students will love these!   If nothing, else you must click on the picture to check out the blog.  It is called Pearls, Handcuffs, and Happy Hour.

2.  Reindeer Food ( My students have already been asking about this.  I guess it has been a yearly gift given to them by their teachers in the past.  I can't disappoint!)
I thought this was the cutest way to package the magical reindeer food.  Just click on the picture above to find the directions for making this cute reindeer from Clipper Girl.

The next idea is what my 3rd graders will be making for their parents.  I have already requested donations of black 5x7 frames.
I found this idea from Pinterest, but when I tried to link to the picture.. there was no link.   Paint chips were used for the tree, buttons for the ornaments, sticky-backed foam stars for the topper, and brown ribbon glued underneath for the tree stump. Newspaper letters glued to the tissue strip spelled, "Family is the Best Gift."

Here are a couple of more ideas that I have used in the past.  Simply click on the picture to be taken to the link.

1.  Snowman Soup

2.  A snowman plate for students to make for their parents.
This idea comes from The First Grade Parade.  Click on the picture above to find out more.

We will be working on our parents gifts that last week before break.  I created a holiday pack to help fill in some of the gaps when students finish up and others are still working. The pack includes Holiday ABC Order, 2 Holiday Making Words,  a Gingerbread man and Gingerbread girl coloring sheet, 2 Holiday writing papers, Stocking Addition, and Gumdrop Subtraction.  Click on any picture below to download this free from TPT.  Enjoy!!
One last thing..... Lindsey from My Life as a 3rd Grade Teacher is having a 700 follower Giveaway.  You must check it out.  The giveaway ends December 11.  Click on the picture below to find out more.
Have a fabulous week!!

I am actually doing canvas paintings this year (I got them on sale over the summer!) and for my kids projects I am doing t shirts for them (vista print groupon!) and little target christmas goodies... Whatever works!! But seriously, what did we do without pinterest?! ;) Can't wait to check out your holiday freebie!!! XO

Thanks for the shout out girlie! I love your gift ideas. I am really impressed. I have definitely let that ball drop in the past.

I always give my kiddos a book that I order from Scholastic with my points.

I've never done a parent gift. GASP!
