Monday Made It- More Freebie printables

It's Monday AGAIN!
Mondays are normally my least favorite day of the week EXCEPT during the summer months.
I LOVE me some Monday Made Its!
I'm linking up with Tara at 4th Grade Frolics for:
All of my Monday Made Its are for my little ole' classroom.  I can't wait to use them!

1.  Warm and Fuzzy Jar
 A.K.A. marble jar
This works similar to the marble jar except that students get to put in those pom poms  for doing something kind for someone else.  Once the jar is filled to the top, the class gets a "classroom filled with kindness" party.
To make this project all you need are:  some pom poms- I purchased mine from the Dollar Tree
ribbon to go around the top of the jar
a jar- I stocked up on the plastic jars from Dollar Tree
the "warm and fuzzy" printable- you can download it for free from HERE

2. R.A. K. Jar

I have  a "kindness" theme going with today's Monday Made It.  My goal this year is to begin the year  impressing upon my students the importance of teamwork, friendship, and caring.  I plan on beginning the year with the story of Charlotte's Web which is a wonderful story about friendship.  We also will read and discuss the story "Have you Filled a Bucket Today?".   I have "buckets" for each students and bucket filler cards that I create and order from Vistaprint as well.
So.. I want to begin each day with my students thinking about kindness and how to help others throughout the day.
This is the Random Act of Kindness Jar.

Each morning before our routine begins, I will choose one student to draw a slip from the jar. He/she will read it to the class.  Students are to focus on completing this random act of kindness throughout the school day.  At the end of the day when we are wrapping up, we will discuss what students did throughout the day towards this random act of kindness.

For this project you will need:
a jar  ( I used a plastic one from Dollar Tree)
ribbon to decorate
a copy of the Random Act of Kindness jar activity.  You can download this freebie HERE.

3. Ping Pong Multiplication Math

My students last year LOVED math games and math stations.  Over the summer, I hope to collect many different math games that I can add to the station rotations.  While on a trip to the Dollar Tree, I found many ping pong balls and came up with a math game idea using these.

I simply numbered each ball with a sharpie from 0-12 and placed the ping pong balls in a container.  I used a plastic bin.  I created a label for the bin and adhered it to the front.  You can get this printable HERE.
To play the game: There can be 1-4 students at this game.  Each student will need to have a copy of the ping pong multiplication math printable.  You can get this HERE.  Each student takes a turn reading into the basket and pulling out 2 ping pong balls.  The student then writes the 2 numbers down in the box on their paper.  He/she multiplies the two numbers together and writes down the answer on his/her paper.  Then the next student takes a turn.  The game continues until all students have completed all 10 boxes on their paper.  Students then add up all the answers together.  The student with the highest number wins the game.  Students will need to work together to ensure that each student has multiplied correctly.

Have you seen this floating around on Pinterest?
It comes from Fourth Grade Fun in Florida. Just click on the link HERE to check out her explanation on her math stations.  She has some fabulous ideas for setting up math stations in her classroom.  I love her organization and acronym for the math stations.  I want to do something similar to this with my math stations this school year.

Thanks for stopping by!  I  can't wait to check out all of the fabulous Made It Monday ideas.  Just click on 4th Grade Frolics' link above to check out all the great ideas.

I love this so much! I made something very similar but a "Bucket Filler" jar and would love to share mine for free but wanted your permission first since it's your idea and I used your cards too (and added some of my own!).

Can I please e-mail you the file to check? My e-mail is christina4062@hotmail.com and I'd love it if you'd take a peek at what I created!

Thanks so much for inspiring me!

:)
