Happy Monday!!!
Check out my April Currently!
I had to chuckle as I was working on this month's Currently last night. My hubs was watching "River Monsters", BUT I was just as intrigued by the show and had to stop and watch it with him. I'm not into fishing, I'd rather read a book as my Hubs and Sweeties fish, but this episode had me watching. This particular episode was shot at Bagnell Dam at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. A popular place for us to take our little darlins' on a mini-vacay. It's just a few hours away from us. The particular spot that was being filmed was one we had taken our kids fishing to just a year ago. They were looking for Man -Eating Catfish!!! My husband and I had a good chuckle over this one. He couldn't wait to tell our boys, but I think we will keep this a secret from our daughter. If she knew, she may never step foot there again.
As for the explanation to my super power.... My hubs and I have been trying to work out the arrangements for the upcoming holiday with our respective families. My family lives 2 hours away and my husband's family is about 45 minutes away. I so wish I could simply twitch my nose and arrive within seconds to visit my family and etc. Imagine the possibilities!!

I also wanted to give a few shout-outs to some fabulous ladies. First thanks so much to Krista at The Second Grade Super Kids and Casey at Second Grade Math Maniacs for their fabulous items from TPT. I was a winner in their recent Giveaway. Woohoo! If you haven't had a chance to check out their blogs, please do so. They are awesome!
Also, I wanted to give a shout-out to Corinna at Surfin Through Second. If you haven't had a chance to check out Corinna's blog, please hop on over there. Corinna teaches in Hawaii, and she surfs also. I love reading her posts. Check out her post on the Warrior Dash. Looks like so much fun!!!
Have a great evening! Thanks for stopping by!
